The SPE Motorsport ExoFilter Generation 2 is built to protect your 6.7L Powerstroke from costly fuel system damage by stopping contamination before it makes its way back to the tank. When a CP4 pump fails, debris can circulate through the return side, contaminating lines, the cooler, and the tank itself. The ExoFilter acts as the final safeguard, capturing that debris and providing a visual check of your system’s health before it becomes a major repair. Designed as a direct-fit, plug-and-play assembly, the ExoFilter can be used on its own or paired with the SPE Generation 2 Disaster Prevention Kit for complete coverage.

How It Works

The ExoFilter installs on the return side of the fuel system to trap contaminants before they re-enter the tank. During a pump failure, the filter helps the truck shut down sooner, preventing debris from circulating further. Its 20-micron stainless steel element is fully washable and easy to inspect during routine maintenance. A clear lid lets you see inside the filter without removing it, giving you instant confirmation that your system is clean. Optional black or raw billet lids are available for customers who prefer a more discreet setup.
